Top 5 European Football League’s Betting Action for the weekend 30/31 October Including Liverpool vs Brighton
Last week we witnessed an explosive weekend of football as Liverpool crushed Man Utd at Old Trafford, Real Madrid pinched the points at the Camp Nou and PSG and Marseille played out a stalemate in Le Classique. The action continues this weekend as we preview the top matches in Europes top 5 Leagues.
Premier League: Liverpool vs Brighton
Liverpool absolutely destroyed a woeful Manchester United last weekend, an impressive Mo Salah bagging a hat-trick in the first half. It was a dominant display from Klopp’s men that keeps them only one point behind leaders Chelsea. This weekend, Liverpool entertain a high flying Brighton team who sit in 5th place in the table.
Both Naby Keita and James Milner left the pitch with injuries at the weekend and look doubtful to return to face Brighton this weekend which will give Curtis Jones a chance to shine in midfield. Salah, Mane and Firmino are all fit to play in attack, meanwhile, Konate looks to partner Virgil van Dijk in central defence.
Brighton were well beaten in their last match, losing at home 4-1 to Manchester City. Before that match, they had only managed to draw their previous three games. Graham Potter will be wanting to get the Seagulls back on track after their excellent start to the season. However, a visit to Anfield is probably not the fixture he would have wanted to turn around their run of poor results.
William Hill has Liverpool as low as 1/4 for a home win with the price for Brighton looking to spoil the party as high as 12/1 at Bet Victor and Pari Match.
This is the game of the weekend and a ticket for either team to rise up the rankings. Keep an eye out for more exclusive bonuses and offers around this game.
La Liga: Real Sociedad vs Athletic Club
Whilst Real Madrid were victors in the El Classico, Real Sociedad relinquished a two goal lead to champions Atletico last weekend, Luis Suarez scoring both goals. The result still leaves Sociedad in first place in the league on 21 points with Real Madrid and Sevilla only one point behind, both with 20.
Athletic Club have hit a vein of form recently, winning their last two matches and regaining some of the consistency they had at the beginning of the season. This match is known as The Basque Derby, with much more to play for than just the points. Athletic Club will not be enjoying seeing their rivals sitting at the top of the table and will travel to Estadio Municipal de Anoeta hoping to upset their Basque neighbours. Sociedad are favourites to win with the bookmakers, Betway and Bet365 offering competitive odds for Athletic Club at 3/1
Serie A: AS Roma vs AC Milan
There’s not much love lost between these two teams who are both well placed in the top four of the league table. Roma’s form has dipped in recent weeks and they welcome a very much in form AC to the Stadio Olimpico this weekend.
Milan have won all of their last five matches and are only second to Napoli in the table on goal difference, both have 25 points, Roma are 9 points behind in fourth place.
Roma may be without manager Jose Mourinho on the sidelines as he was shown the red card as Roma played out a well-earned draw with leaders Napoli last weekend. Mourinho was promptly shown a red card by referee Davide Massa as a result of his consistent protests to a foul on forward Zaniolo.
Even with their league position and recent form taken into account, Roma are very slight favourites with the bookies to win, however, there is not much in it, 7/4 Milan over 6/4 Roma.

Bundesliga: Dortmund vs FC Koln
Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund will be looking to maintain their title challenge this weekend when they host FC Koln on Saturday. Dortmund are in second spot in the league only one point behind leaders Bayern, winning 4 of their last five games. However, Dortmund will miss a host of players due to injury, 9 goal man Erling Haaland will be sorely missed in attack.
This will be a big challenge for FC Koln who have had a mixed bag of results over their last 5 matches. However, with 13 points already on the board, manager Steffen Baumgart has seen good progress with the team since his arrival and will certainly be looking forward to the challenge of facing BVB.
Dortmund are odds-on favourites for this game with not many doubts on who will win the match, you can get odds as good as 11/2 for Koln at William Hill.
Ligue 1: Marseille vs PSG
Champions Lyon find themselves in unfamiliar territory in 9th position with only one win in their last four games. This weekend they will see the visit of 2nd placed Lens who sit 5 points clear of Lyon but 7 points behind runaway leaders PSG.
Lens had a good win at home to Metz in their last outing, Wesley Said scoring two in their 4 -1 win. Lyon however capitulated and gave up a two goal lead, conceding 3 goals to Nice in the final ten minutes of the game. Head coach Peter Bosz will not want to see a repeat of that. As for the betting action on this game, both teams are very strong but the bookies have the home team as favourites to win, even with Lens higher position in Ligue 1. Unibet has the best price for Lyon at 8/11.
