Top 5 European Football League’s Betting Action for the weekend 18/19 September Including Tottenham vs Chelsea

Europes top teams returned to action last weekend after a hectic international break. Although the season has only just begun, some familiar names are taking their places at the top of Europes best football leagues.

This weekend has some belting fixtures to look forward to including a table-topping London derby and a clash of two footballing Italian giants. Here we preview the top matches in Europes top 5 football leagues.

Premier League: Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

This is a high stake game featuring two of London’s in-form teams. Chelsea are outright favourites with the bookies. Thomas Tuchel has Chelsea playing some of their finest football in years and with the addition of Lukaku and his lethal finishing, scoring 3 goals since his return to the Premier League, Chelsea certainly look like early contenders for the top spot this season.

Tottenham started the season with three wins in a row but was well beaten in their last outing where they lost Tanganga and allowed in 3 late goals against Crystal Palace. It was their first loss of the season, which cost them a possible top spot. Nuno might use either Romero or Sanchez to fill Tanganga’s shoes and close down Lukaku and Werner’s advances. Harry Kane will be looking to get his goalscoring boots on and prove the bookmakers wrong. A win for Spurs at home to Chelsea would certainly lay down their title hopes at this stage in the season.

This is the game of the weekend and a ticket for either team to rise up the rankings. Keep an eye out for more exclusive bonuses and offers around this game.

La Liga: Valencia vs Real Madrid

La Liga’s top 2 teams go head to head this weekend to see if either club can come out on top and grab the top spot in the league. Valencia are riding high after a 4-1 away win at Osasuna on matchday 3. Bordalas’ classic 4-4-2 balances the pitch, which gives any player an opportunity to score. With a relatively younger squad, such results can cement Valencia’s grip on the summit and challenge the Spanish Big Boys for the silverware.

The Champions League date in Italy against Inter Millan will significantly shape Real Madrid’s performance against Valencia. Benzema’s hat-trick against Celta Vigo makes him the best player in the league currently, a fete he is keen to hold onto. However, Ancelotti still has talented youngsters like Vinicius Jnr, Isco and Camavinga to hold forte against Valencia.

Even with Valencia’s outstanding form and home stadium advantage, the betting sites still have Real as the clear favourites to pick up the points at the Mestalla

Serie A: Juventus vs AC Milan

Two giants of Italian football come face to face at the Allianz Stadium this Sunday. Juventus uncharacteristic slow start this season has already eaten into their league prospects. With top players Lukaku and Ronaldo leaving in the summer transfers, Allegri is trying to create a perfect team to take them back to the top. They fell to Napoli on matchday 3 but hope to revive their fortunes against AC Milan. A trip to Sweden in the midweek might help them bounce back to victory.

AC Milan’s defensive play opens up the field to counter-offensive techniques. With Ibrahimovic showing no sign of slowing down, Pioli capitalises on his experience, especially in title-deciding matches. They hope to make it 4 out of 4 in the domestic league when they travel to Turin and keep the pressure on high-flying Roma.

Surprisingly the bookmakers are going against form and see Juve as the favourites in this match, a bet on AC might look like a good bet.

Bundesliga: Wolfsburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Wolfsburg have taken an early lead at the summit of the Bundesliga with a perfect start of four wins from four. They deservingly beat Furth on matchday 4, Mark van Bommel has the team playing some wonderful football and they will be looking forward to their midweek trip to France to face Lille in the Champions League hoping it will prepare them for their league meeting against Frankfurt.

Frankfurt has had a stuttered start to the season with 3 draws in 3 league games placing them just above the relegation zone. Matchday 5 is a decisive game that they need to win to kickstart their season, the talent they have within their ranks can still improve their domestic and continental glory.

Ligue 1: PSG vs Lyon

PSG are not leaving anything to chance this season, thanks to last season’s upsets. They are the most formidable team in Europe, with some of the biggest names in football at their disposal. The Matchday 6 clash with Lyon at the Parc du Prince Stadium can make it 6 out of 6 for the Parisians, the only team still unbeaten in the league.

Lyon, on the other hand, are looking for a point to jump into the Champions League places. They will bank on Shaqiri and Dembele’s experience to challenge the league leaders. A win here would send a message out as well as slow down PSG’s march to the title, although the bookmakers have Lyon as rank outsiders, giving them no chance to upset the league leaders.
