Bet-at-home operates under valid licences from different regulatory bodies like the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. These supervisory and regulatory bodies check Bet-at-home regularly to ensure that it is following all the necessary requirements and abiding by the law. Having over 4 million customers means that the bookmaker deals with players from different countries. This situation calls for them to have permission, given through licences. These licences also prove that the bookmaker is legit. This section of the Bet-at-home review takes a look at the licences the bookmaker holds.
Licences and Seals of Approval Held by Bet-at-home
Bet-at-home holds two licences from the Malta Gaming Authority. This is the regulatory body in Malta, controlled by the Maltese government. This Official licence of Bet-at-home gives the bookmaker the mandate to operate in Malta. The first licence is the licence number MGA/B2C/278/2004 and is for the Bet-at-home Internet Limited. The second licence is licence number MGA/B2C/173/2004 for the Bet-at-home Entertainment Limited. Both seals of approval allow Bet-at-home to render sports betting services to players.
In 2014, Bet-at-home obtained a licence from the UK Gambling Commission to operate online sports betting in the United Kingdom. This was issued for the Bet-at-home Internet Limited in Malta. It is valid for an unspecified period of time.
In 2015, Bet-at-home acquired a sports betting licence in Ireland for the Bet-at-home Internet Limited in Malta. This was issued by the Irish Government and is valid till 30th June 2019.
Where Bet-at-home Operates Legally
Having the aforementioned licences enable Bet-at-home to operate legally in different countries. It shows that Bet-at-home is doing everything in accordance with the law. Bet-at-home legally operates in the United Kingdom, Malta, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Slovenia.
Most betting companies require a player to find out if online gambling is illegal in their country of residence. A player has to know what laws pertaining to gambling apply in their country and what they are or aren’t allowed to do.
Bet-at-home doesn’t assume any liability in regards to legalities in different countries and won’t compensate a player for losses incurred due to the violation of any laws. Every player is required to act in accordance with the legal requirements in their country of residence.

Pros
Bet-At-Home features amazing odds, really great. I only bet on tennis, and most of the time I'm able to find the best odds here, for matches I care about.
Cons
Interface is too simple and basic. I'm not an idiot, I can figure out where I'm supposed to go, just give me all the options already!
