Top 5 European Football League’s Betting Action 20/21 February Including Liverpool v Everton

European Leagues head into the final stretch of their respective seasons, with crucial games on the books.  The Bundesliga is on matchday 22, Serie A records matchday 23, while La Liga is on 24. The English Premier League plays match 25, while the Ligue 1 welcomes matchday 26. Its derby weekend in England, Italy and Germany as local rivalries take centre stage.

Premier League: Liverpool v Everton

The Merseyside derby comes at a time with both teams struggling to get hold of the League. Liverpool are the worst hit as they have had to surrender their title ambitions. They have lost their last 3 matches in the League, with the worst coming at the hands of the league leaders and major title contenders last weekend. Klopp is surely missing Van Dijk.

Ancelloti has guided Everton to a fair start, although their mid-season games went south. With Yerry Mina still out, Everton’s backline is still struggling, although they still have options. Pickford is ready for a comeback between the posts, which will boost their chances. If Everton wins the derby,  not only will Merseyside be painted blue, they will be level on points with their neighbours. Their game-in-hand advantage can push them into 4th place if they collect maximum points. The major bookmakers clearly fancy Liverpool to take all the points at Anfield this weekend.

This is the game of the weekend and a ticket for either team to rise up the rankings. Keep an eye out for more exclusive bonuses and offers around this game.

La Liga: Atletico Madrid v Levante

High-flying Atletico will leave nothing to chance when they face Levante for the second time in a week. The 6 points gap and a game in hand are enough to cement their authority in the League. Suarez is significant to Diego Simeone’s side, bringing in the front-goal experience from Barcelona. They also want to erase their mid-week draw against Levante.

Levante will leverage on their mid-week draw to register another draw or a win at the Metropolitano. Their biggest result of the second leg is the 2-1 against Real Madrid, which shaped their campaign. A win for them will push them to position 8th place, however, the bookies don’t see much chance of a Levante win or draw this time around.

Serie A: AC Milan v Inter Milan

The battle of San Siro will be on this weekend, with both Milan clubs battling it out for the season’s bragging rights. With only 1 point separating the teams, whoever wins the derby stands a chance to snatch the League from Juventus. Inter has the statistical advantage, but Pioli’s men would be out to regain their form after the defeat at Spezia.

Ibrahimovic might be in the sunset years of his career, but the talisman still rocks on the field and will again look forward to the contest with Lukaku adding extra zest to what will already be a firey contest in this year’s Derby Della Madonnina. As for the betting, Inter are slight favourites to be the pride of Milan this weekend.

Bundesliga: Schalke v Dortmund

Schalke are experiencing their worst season in years and look like they are doomed to relegation. They face fierce local rivals Dortmund in the Revier derby with the odds favouring the latter. 6th placed Dortmund hope to move into the Europe League bracket, and a win against Schalke would be instrumental to the course.

They have only one win in their last 5 matches, compared to zero from Schalke. The derby might end up as a one-sided game, the bookmakers certainly think so not giving the outsiders much chance at all.

Ligue 1: PSG v Monaco

Raving from a comfortable win against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League, PSG hopes to extend their influence in the domestic League. With a single point separating them and the league leaders Lille, a win might return them to the summit. On-form Mbappe and Icardi will lead the charge against Monaco at the Princes Park.

Monaco had an impressive start to the second half of the season, winning 4 of the last 5 games. The hat-trick hero Golovin, overlapping Yedder and experienced Fabregas, leads the charge as the Kovac boys go for the maximum points. A win for them pushes them closer to the UEFA Champions’ League spot. No surprises in this game for the bookies who are not taking any chances by offering PSG as the favourites to take 3 points.
