Top 5 European Football League’s Betting Action 18-19th January 2020 Including Liverpool v Manchester United

The second leg of the 2019/2020 season for the top five European football leagues continues to gain momentum with each game bringing its share of excitements, surprises or disappointments to the fans. Here is an analysis of some of the most exciting upcoming matches.

Premier League: Liverpool v Manchester United

Liverpool will be focusing on maintaining their relentless march to scoop the EPL title when they host Manchester United in their Anfield Stadium on Sunday the 19th. The Reds are currently 14 points ahead of position two on the table. They have won all their matches played in the Premier League for the 2019/2020 season except for one game that ended in a draw with Man United and Jurgen Klopp’s troop should be cautious.

Manchester United previous game ended in a 4-0 win against Norwich City placing them 5th on the table, and they yearn for more points to join the top 4 list. Liverpool’s key players like Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner and Nathaniel Clyne may miss the game due to injuries. On the other hand, Man United lack key players like Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba as a result of injuries. A home win for Liverpool is almost inevitable but let us not underestimate the current persistent Man United squad.

La Liga: Real Madrid v Sevilla

Real Madrid, seating in the second position of the La Liga table, will host Sevilla on the 18th in their Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid worked so hard to beat Atletico Madrid on penalties in the Spanish Super Cup during the past weekend, and they could be a little fatigued ahead of their meeting with Sevilla. Besides, Karim Benzema is absent due to injury, but Luka Jovic will take the midfield.

Sevilla is currently 4th on the La Liga table just five points behind the top club and Real Madrid. They will be attacking with all they have in a bid to acquire the three crucial points. Besides, during Sevilla’s Spanish Super Cup match against Escobedo over the weekend, Julen Lopetengui rested most of the starting eleven players. It will be interesting to watch how both teams play against each other.

Serie A: Juventus v Parma Calcio

Juventus recent win against Roma at Stadio Olimpico saw them return to the top of the Serie A table with 48 points, just 2 points behind the second club on the table. Juventus host Parma in their Allianz Stadium this Sunday the 19th and they need to win the match if they intend to stay at the top of the table. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 14th goal of the season in the previous game, and he is a man the Calcio defenders need to watch closely.

Parma holds the 7th table position, and this will be quite a challenging game for them. In their last away game with Atalanta, they lost terribly. Given that Juventus is so strong at home, Parma may not get anything. Let’s wait and see!

Bundesliga: Hertha Berlin v Bayern Munich

Hertha Berlin will host Bayern Munich in their Olympiastadion Berlin for a much-anticipated game on Sunday the 19th. Bayern’s first leg of the season has not been as vibrant, and they will do all they can in this second part to get to the top and stay there. They are in the third position of the Bundesliga table and will go all guns blazing on Hertha Berlin to get the much needed three points. Hans-Dieter Flick’s troop has won their previous three games in the league fixtures, and they will want to continue with their winning streak.

Hertha Berlin has also been undefeated in their last three games, and the squad will be in high spirits to maintain the clean sheet. For football betting fans, Robert Lewandowski is the man to keep an eye on as he has been scoring several goals this season and will most likely score against Hertha again.

Ligue 1: Lille OSC v PSG

The match between Lille and PSG will be played on 26 January 2020 at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Lille’s stadium. Meanwhile, PSG is at the top of the Ligue 1 table and have an upcoming match against Monaco before meeting Lille. Les Parisiens are on the right track of taking the Ligue 1 title. Neymar Jr will be the man to watch from the away team as he has been on a scoring as well as an assisting streak lately.

Lille is currently 5th on the table, and they have a chance to climb up and qualify for the Champions League. Victor Osimhen, Lille’s striker, will be a man to watch during the match. However, Lille will be missing Boubakary Soumaré, their midfielder, who received a red card in their previous game against Dijon. It will be an exciting game to watch.
