Top 5 European Football League’s Betting Action 11-12th May 2019 Including Liverpool v Wolverhampton

It is an action-packed weekend for football teams across the top European leagues. La Liga, Serie A, Premiership, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga will see some of the major team battles it out with equally formidable opponents. Here is a quick look at some major matches.

Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers (Sunday 15:00)

The Premier League derby between Liverpool and Wolves takes place at Anfield on Sunday the 12th of May at 3.00pm. With just a point away from the league leaders, Liverpool has had a rather good season both at UEFA and Premiership. They have won their last five games with the last two against New castle, which they beat 3-2 and against Huddersfield who they beat five to nil. Wolves are placed at the seventh position but have also had a rather good recent form, having won three of their last five premiership derbies, drawing one and losing once. Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah is going to be the man of the match but will get good opposition from Joao Filipe Iria Santos who has recorded 109 tackles for Wolves.

Atletico Madrid v Sevilla (Sunday 17:30)

The title for La Liga may have already been taken, but the Spanish teams are no relenting in their fight for the top four. This weekend, some action is happening at Wanda Metropolitano where Atletico Madrid will face off with Sevilla. Atletico Madrid is second placed on the table and Sevilla in fifth thanks to the loss of last two games; first an away at Girona and home against Leganes. Getafe just won three points clear of Sevilla by beating Girona. While Atletico Madrid is not under pressure to win the game, they will be too hard to beat at home with a draw likely to be the worst case scenario.

AS Roma v Juventus (Sunday 19:30)

Stadio Olimpico will host a game between Roma and Juventus on the Serie A. Roma are two points down after they drew with Genoa. Therefore, they face a must-win situation when they face rivals. With the home advantage, there is a strong chance that they will try their best to clinch a win. However, Juventus are a force to reckon with in the top Italian teams. They have defended their position every while. They have been unbeaten in the last three matches against Roma’s six matches in the league. Therefore, they will not be easy to beat in this game and are likely to be the favourites of the game.

RB Leipzig v FC Bayern München (Sat 14:30)

The league leaders Bayern Munchen are travelling to meet the third-placed RB Leipzig in one of the likely action-packed packed events at Red Bull Arena. Both teams have won four of their last five meetings and drawing the other one. Bayern has been the dominant giants in Munich for a long time. However, Leipzig seems to be changing the power equation with wins across various leagues in Europe. This match is one of the hardest to predict as it is likely to go either way.

Marseille v Lyon (Sunday 20:00)

Marseille battle Lyon at Stade Velodrome this Sunday at 8 pm. Lyon is a distant third from the second-placed LOSC at 63 points, having only won two of their last five matches. Marseille is not any better. They have had a dismal performance this season with 55 points at position six and only winning two of the last five games. The tables might tip to Marseilles’ favour given the home advantage and the fact that the team is hard to beat at home. However, with the lacklustre performance recently, the game could go either way.
