Top 5 European Football League’s Betting Action 28-29 November 2020 Including Chelsea v Tottenham

Europes top leagues are approaching December in what will represent a hectic schedule of football with teams looking to improve on their current form and standings. Here, we look to guide you through some of the most anticipated matches that will be taking place this weekend between some of Europe’s footballing elite.

Premier League: Chelsea v Tottenham

Chelsea host Tottenham on November 29 at Stamford Bridge in one of Londons biggest derbies. Tottenham are top of the table with 20 points whilst Chelsea sit 3rd with 18 points. This is going to be a tough match for both teams and will see Frank Lampard face his former title-winning manager Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham will have just two days to recover from their Europa League tie before taking on the Blues. Spurs took over the mantle after beating Man City 2-0 last time out and will hope to defend their position as league leaders. Son Heung-min and Harry Kane have formed a devastating partnership this season and both players should be fit to play. Chelsea, the bookie’s favourites, will be without midfielder Pulisic and with home advantage, the Blues will looking to take 3 points.

This is the game of the weekend and a ticket for either team to rise up the rankings. Keep an eye out for exclusive bonuses and offers around this game.

La Liga: Real Sociedad v Villarreal

Another challenging game is coming up for La Liga fans as league leaders Real Sociedad take on Villarreal at the Anoeta stadium. Real Sociedad are surprisingly sitting on top of the table with 23 points having played ten matches while Villarreal are placed third with 19 points, only four points behind the leader. David Silva is in inspired form for Real Sociedad but faces time on the sidelines with an injured hamstring, he is set to miss the game against Villarreal.

In form strikers Paco Alcácer and Gerard Moreno have scored 10 goals between them for Villarreal so far this season, they will be looking to test Real and help close the gap on the leaders. Real Sociedad are clear favourites in the bookmaker’s eyes to take all 3 points here.

Serie A: Napoli v Roma

Unfortunately, the sad news of the passing away of Napoli club legend Diego Maradona will dominate the headlines for this match. Maradona, one of worlds greatest ever players, helped Napoli to win two league titles in his time at the club which also led to Napoli to retiring his No.10 jersey upon his departure. He became a true Napoli legend.

Il derby del sole, (the derby of the Sun) involves Napoli and Roma battling out who is the more dominant team of Italy’s south. Roma will be travel to Stadio San Paolo on Sunday to take on Napoli who have had a somewhat of mixed bag so far this season with three losses in the eight games it has played, losing two in the last five. On the other hand, Roma are placed in third position with 17 points only 3 points behind leaders Milan, scoring an incredible 19 goals in their last 8 games. In their last three encounters, Napoli has taken the honours winning two and losing one. Even with Roma placed above Napoli in the league, the bookmakers have Napoli as favourites to win what is expected to be a high scoring match.

Bundesliga: VfB Stuttgart v Bayern

Eighth-placed VfB Stuttgart welcomes Bayern Munich to the Mercedes-Benz Arena this Saturday in what looks like Germany’s stand out game of the weekend. VfB Stuttgart’s recent form has been in jeopardy only managing back-to-back draws in the last four games. Manager Thomas Hitzlsperger will be under pressure to improve the team’s performance and grab the three points against a very inform Bayern.

Bayern Munich are the bookmaker’s clear favourites to take the points having lost only one game all season, topping the table with 19 points. With Dortmund and Leverkusen also challenging for the top spot, Bayern will be wanting all three points and cement their positions at the top of the table.

Ligue 1: Lyon v Reims

Olympique Lyonnais and Reims will meet at Groupama Stadium on Sunday with one team pushing for the top spot and the other residing in the danger zone only four places from the bottom. The hosts, Lyon, have had a rather good start this season amassing 20 points in the last 11 games and not losing in their previous five matches.

Reims have been on a downward spiral with just nine points in the last 11 matches and two wins in the last five. Lyon are clear favourites to take the points but  Boulaye Dia, who is the second-highest scorer in League 1 will have other ideas about that. Last season the teams could only manage a  1-1 draw in both meetings, this weekend more goals are expected.
